Terms of Service

Most people scroll straight past a page like this, and we get it. These terms matter anyway, so we’ve tried to write them in plain English. They explain what you can expect from Petite Wardrobe and what we expect from you.

Agreeing to These Terms

By visiting or using petitewardrobe.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by any local laws that apply to you. If you don’t agree with any part of them, please stop using the site.

Who Can Use This Site

Petite Wardrobe is written for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use the site. If you’re under 18, you’re not permitted to use it, and we ask that you leave. Parents who believe a child has used the site or sent us information can contact us at the email address at the bottom of this page.

What Petite Wardrobe Is

Petite Wardrobe is a fashion blog for women who are 5’4″ and under. We publish outfit ideas, fit guides, styling tips and wardrobe advice built around petite proportions. We don’t sell clothing ourselves, and the site is provided for general information and inspiration.

Your License to Use the Content

We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view the content on Petite Wardrobe for your own personal, non-commercial use. This is a license to use the materials, not a transfer of ownership. You don’t get any rights to the content beyond what these terms state.

Sharing is welcome in one specific way. You may share our images and posts using the Pinterest Save button or the social sharing buttons on the site, as long as the share links back to the original post on Petite Wardrobe.

What You Can’t Do

Under this license, you may not:

  • Modify or copy the materials, except as allowed above
  • Use the materials for any commercial purpose or public display
  • Try to reverse engineer any software on the site
  • Remove copyright or other proprietary notices from the materials
  • Transfer the materials to another person or mirror them on any other server
  • Scrape, harvest or collect content from the site
  • Use bots, spiders or other automated tools to access the site
  • Frame Petite Wardrobe inside another website without our permission

If you break any of these rules, your license ends automatically, and we may end your access.

You agree to use Petite Wardrobe lawfully and respectfully. That means you won’t:

  • Harass, threaten or abuse other visitors or us
  • Post unlawful, hateful or offensive content
  • Send unsolicited commercial messages or spam through the site
  • Interfere with or disrupt the site, its servers or its security
  • Use the site to break any law or violate anyone’s rights

Who Owns What

Everything on Petite Wardrobe belongs to the site owner or its licensors. That includes the text, photos, graphics, logo, design and software, and it’s all protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, republish, sell or reproduce any of it without our express written permission, except as described in the license section above.

Your Comments and Submissions

When you leave a comment or send content to Petite Wardrobe, you keep ownership of it. You also give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display and distribute that content in connection with the site. We may moderate, edit or delete any comment or submission at our discretion, including anything that’s off-topic, spammy or breaks these terms.

Links to Other Sites

Posts on Petite Wardrobe often link to retailers, brands and other websites. We don’t control those sites, we don’t necessarily endorse them, and we aren’t responsible for their content, products or privacy practices. If you visit a linked site, you do so at your own risk.

Affiliate Links and Commissions

Petite Wardrobe participates in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates Program. If you buy something through an affiliate link on the site, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We say so clearly where it applies, and a commission never decides what we recommend. You can read the details on our Affiliate Disclosure page.

Style Advice and Your Own Judgment

Everything on Petite Wardrobe is for general informational purposes. Fit and style are personal, and results vary with your body, your tailor, the brand and the garment. Use our advice as a starting point and your own judgment as the final word. Check a brand’s own size charts and return policy before you buy.

Content Provided As Is

The materials on Petite Wardrobe are provided “as is.” We make no warranties, express or implied, and we disclaim all other warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We also don’t make any promises about the accuracy, completeness or reliability of the content or the results of using it.

Errors and Out-of-Date Information

The materials on Petite Wardrobe may contain technical, typographical or photographic errors. Brands change sizing, prices and availability often, so we can’t promise that anything is accurate, complete or current. We may change the materials at any time without notice, and we aren’t obligated to update them, although we do try to refresh older posts regularly.

Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Petite Wardrobe, its owner and its agents will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site. This applies even if we’ve been told such damages are possible. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

If a Claim Comes From Your Use

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Petite Wardrobe, its owner and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your use of the site, your breach of these terms or your violation of anyone else’s rights.

How Privacy Fits In

Your use of Petite Wardrobe is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and handle information. Please read it alongside these terms.

Ending Access

We may suspend or end your access to Petite Wardrobe at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including a violation of these terms. Once access ends, your right to use the site stops immediately.

Things Outside Our Control

Petite Wardrobe isn’t liable for any delay or failure to perform that results from causes beyond our reasonable control. That includes natural disasters, war, terrorism, government actions, power or internet outages and similar events.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use Petite Wardrobe after changes are posted, you accept the updated terms. Please check this page from time to time, since you’re responsible for staying familiar with the current version.

Governing Law

Any claim relating to Petite Wardrobe is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the site owner is established, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

If Part of This Doesn’t Hold Up

If a court finds any provision of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the terms stay in full force and effect.

The Whole Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy and any other notices posted on Petite Wardrobe, make up the entire agreement between you and the site. They replace any earlier agreements about your use of it.
